1) With a secure base/bed to return to, which included always the
opportunity for work to contribute towards the meeting of ones basic
needs, one would feel a lot freer to come and go.
2) The community itself would be an interesting destination for other
travelers and given the communities resources, there would always be
extra beds and food to share.
3) If the community was always hosting travelers and making friends
with other people near and far, networking and establishing travel
connections would be greatly enhanced.
4) With a large base of potential travel companions close by,
this too might facilitate travel.
